These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Taseel mobile application (formerly referred to in project materials as Tasreef Roots) and the tasreefnlp.com website. By creating an account or using Taseel, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Taseel.
Taseel is an independent Arabic-language learning application operated as part of the Tasreef project by the developer reachable at [email protected].
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use the App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Accounts created for children under 13 will be deleted without notice.
You agree not to:
Original Taseel content — including original mnemonics, instructional explanations, interface material, and application code — is owned by or licensed to the Taseel operator and may not be reproduced except as permitted by law or an applicable license.
Some linguistic datasets, fonts, translations, and software components are provided under third-party licenses. Those materials remain governed by their respective licenses, which may grant reuse rights beyond these Terms. See the Third-Party Notices for attribution and license information.
Your learning progress data (review history, SRS state) belongs to you. You may export or delete it at any time via the App.
We aim to keep the App and API available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or temporary downtime without notice. We are not liable for any loss caused by service interruptions.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Arabic linguistic content is free of errors. Language learning requires practice and verification from qualified instructors — this App is a supplementary tool, not a substitute for formal instruction.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Taseel operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account or initiate a request through the public account-deletion page. Deletion removes your account from the active service immediately. Limited disaster-recovery copies expire according to the backup schedule described in the Privacy Policy and are not used for ordinary product access. We may also terminate or suspend your access if you violate these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
