These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Tasreef Roots mobile application ("App") and the tasreefnlp.com website ("Site"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Who We Are

Tasreef Roots is an independent Arabic-language learning application operated by the developer reachable at [email protected].

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use the App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Accounts created for children under 13 will be deleted without notice.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for keeping your password secure. Do not share your credentials.
• You must provide a valid email address. We may contact you at that address for account-related matters.
• You may not create accounts using automated means or use the App for scraping, data harvesting, or other automated access beyond normal personal use.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the source code of the App.
• Interfere with or disrupt the servers or networks connected to the App.
• Use automated tools to submit excessive API requests that degrade service for other users.

5. Intellectual Property

All content provided by the App — including Arabic root data, mnemonics, example sentences, morphological patterns, and the application code — is owned by or licensed to Tasreef Roots. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without explicit written permission.

Your learning progress data (review history, SRS state) belongs to you. You may export or delete it at any time via the App.

6. Service Availability

We aim to keep the App and API available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or temporary downtime without notice. We are not liable for any loss caused by service interruptions.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Arabic linguistic content is free of errors. Language learning requires practice and verification from qualified instructors — this App is a supplementary tool, not a substitute for formal instruction.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Tasreef Roots shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account. Upon deletion, all your personal data is permanently removed from our systems immediately. We may also terminate or suspend your access if you violate these Terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
